Figen Hn will join us from the East Coast of the United States. She will talk about her journey through engineering as well as life itself starting with her toddlerhood. Figen Ceceli will be sharing her journey over 3 decades of global development. Discussion includes the ups and downs of building leading-edge, transformational solutions; why diversity and inclusion matters for strong results; and what keeps her love for innovation going strong.

Figen served in various executive roles in technology delivery, product management and competitive strategy at JPMorganChase, Comcast, Comverse (Amdocs), Sycamore Networks, Onpath, Brocade and Formation. She has been leading teams across the USA, Europe and Asia to deliver highly resilient software, infrastructure and customer-facing solutions. Her latest projects include building an API Marketplace for open banking, Application Modernization and Cloud Transformation for on-demand scalability and portability to support millions of daily transactions. Previously, she has designed solutions exceeding 99.99% uptime for web-based Customer and Operational Management, IP/Optical/Mobile and Telephony Networking, Storage Systems, Switching Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems, and Real-Time Billing.

She has an Electrical and Computer Engineering background (Master’s from the University of Delaware; Bachelor’s from Bogazici University). She is proud to have transferred her love of science and global cultures to both of her teenage sons as well as numerous other youths.
